@Wise thanks for your response. Why I'm asking is because other 2 partnered intermediary banks takes much time and cost to issue e-firc compared to HDFC Bank. Also it would be good if wise can issue the e-firc for bank to bank transfers via wise where recipient don't have wise account in India, due to wise service not available in India. It will help the Indian recipient to comply with IT norms. Thanks!

What we mean is that those that signed up before 9 May, 2023 had different restricitions for sending INR than those that signed up after that date. You can send from INR if: -You're an Indian tax resident based in India and your Wise account address is in India. -You’ve been verified with your Aadhaar number, PAN, and your Indian bank account. -You have an Indian phone number on your Wise account. We shared more info on this in a previous comment, but just to reiterate: While we do support receiving payments to your balance details from 3rd party services, then keep in mind that receiving or sending money via balances can be subject to limitations. So for example, platform's related to FX/CFD/options trading would be against our Acceptable Use Policy (1.2.2.f): wi.se/usepolicy and likely not to work.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. You can definitely send money to India from the UAE. Keep in mind that you can't currently pay in with AED, nor can you send AED to bank accounts outside of India. With that being said, you can still pay in with another currency like USD, GBP, or EUR via SWIFT: wi.se/swiftpayments You can then have your recipient in India receive INR to their local Indian bank account, or they can receive USD or EUR if they have an external bank account denominated in one of those currencies. Hi. If you have EGP in your balances, then yes, you can convert it into USD: wi.se/moneyconversion 😊 If you're asking about sending EGP to USD, then this wouldn't be possible, because we don't support from EGP transfers at the moment. Let us know if anything else comes up.

You won't be able to add the EGP currency into your account, because we don't accept pay-ins from that currency. But, if you're holding a different currency in your balances, you can still convert it to USD, using the steps mentioned in the link above. Hope this helps!

You're able to set up a primary account so that other Wise users can find you with your email address, and when they send you money it goes straight to this linked bank account.
