As mentioned above, if it's through Wise, she can't send using PHP currency as it's not yet supported. She can instead reach out to her bank, and ask if they support SWIFT transfers, or if there are other alternatives that they can offer.

Hey there 👋 There’s no need to worry about converting money before travelling because when you spend money it will be taken from the balance that the local currency is in. If you don’t have the currency in your account, then we’ll automatically convert the amount for you. The money will be taken from whichever available balance has the cheapest conversion fee. You can't send money from BDT right now, but you can set up a transfer and pay in another currency such as USD, GBP, or EUR using SWIFT: wi.se/swiftpayments You'll then be able to pay out in BDT if you'd like to send money to an external account in Bangladesh. What happened to the debit cards in the US? Will it come back any time soon?

Hi there. We hear you on this. We're temporarily pausing issuing new cards to personal customers in the US due to an operational change. So, new customers, and existing users who're yet to order a card won't be able to. Rest assured, launching cards for personal and business customers is a priority for our team, and we are working hard to make this happen. When there is more information available, we’ll share it. Till then, you can join our wait list here: wi.se/joincardwaitlist. Lastly, existing customers based in the US who've already gotten a card can continue to use them.

I have just spent 5 hours trying to set up an account. I can sign in but wen I try to pay in some money I just go round and round in circles. I have given up, really frustrating Aghhhhhhhhhhhh!

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. You can definitely send money to India from the UAE. Keep in mind that you can't currently pay in with AED, nor can you send AED to bank accounts outside of India. With that being said, you can still pay in with another currency like USD, GBP, or EUR via SWIFT: wi.se/swiftpayments You can then have your recipient in India receive INR to their local Indian bank account, or they can receive USD or EUR if they have an external bank account denominated in one of those currencies. I opened wise account yesterday. Account verified. When I clicked on the wise payment link which the vendor sent to me to pay him, it said my wise account is not enough balance. I want to pay from my bank account, not from wise account balance. Can you tell how to pay in this situation?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. When someone sends you a payment request link, you should be able to pay either using your Wise balance, or via your external bank account. If you're not seeing the option to pay using your external bank account, please reach out to us via DM on Facebook, Instagram, or X with a screenshot of what you see on your end. I have a question. Is the name the only thing you really need on your card? It would be nice to know the Expiry date.

Hi, Ben! The Eco card only has your name to use less ink, but you can still get all the card information on the "card" tab in your Wise account: wi.se/check-card-details If you wish to get a card with all info printed on it, you can get the standard green card 💚

Can I transfer and receive money from Forex trading platform using Wise? I have a question regarding transferring money to a Forex trading platform using Wise. Most platforms require you to have your own bank account. If I transfer funds from Wise, will the Forex trading platform be able to see my Wise IBAN and name? Additionally, if I want to withdraw funds from the Forex platform, can I receive the money to the same Wise IBAN number?

Hi there. You can transfer money with us, and we won't share any of your banking details with the recipient. So, here's how to send money with us: wi.se/howtosendmoney. However, with regard to sending it to a Forex trading platform, note that per our Acceptable Use Policy here: wi.se/usepolicy, we don't support platforms allowing the trading of FX. Also, to receiving money, you'll need to get account details with us first. Plus, this feature's only available in select regions. You can check out your eligibility, and how to get it here: wi.se/getbankdetails. After, you can share your details with your sender to recieve money from them to your balances with us. But, know that there are some restrictions when it comes to where you can receive money from. As long as the platform is supervised/regulated in the EU, or UK, it likely should be fine to recieve.
