This is how you set the time and date on your Invicta 8926OB Pro Diver Automatic Watch. This tutorial will work for most Invicta Pro Diver watches and other brands as well that have a screw-down crown and a date complication.

@@vintageradar It's great, I have the Invicta Sprite 47mm (29177) and it looks very elegant. The quality of the watch also impresses me. I previously had a Diesel watch (dz1763) and I liked it, but Invicta is much better, and it is not a clothing brand haha

Why doesn't the printed manual on Invicta website SHOW correct date setting method, as you do ? Appreciate you helping us. I have the new green Invicta Pro Diver - its a really nice quality 40mm automatic watch ! My brother just got a genuine Rolex - nice piece for sure, but like $7,000 (?). This "Submariner homage" watch makes me happy its 80% of the Rolex for 1/90 the cost lol.

Many videos that talk about setting winding the Invicta pro diver automatic, don't explain how to release the crown, and don't explain about setting the date safely (6:30 am I think). Important, as of this comment it is Feb. and leapyear, so I will need to set the date in a few days. Let me ask, what is the range of time that it is safe to set the date?

On mechanical watches in general it is not indicated to have the watch hands between 9 and 3 o'clock, so on the upper half of the dial. This applies mainly to the hour hand as that is the main one for the date change. I have a full tutorial here with everything about the Invicta Pro Diver: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hryJhdZ7xLm0gGg.htmlsi=B6E8NpCtW0CFjYsJ Also, it is better to set the date 1 day prior, and then go manually past 12 o'clock but I did not have the time to explain everything in a short video.

Hello, try shaking it a little for 10-20 seconds and see if it starts. Also, make sure you do not have the quartz version , but the automatic one.

Can I give wind (like 20 winds) while watch is running? , will it damage watch ?

Yes, you can do that for this model. Most automatic watches will not overwind. However, there are some that do. Also, when winding vintage mechanical watches you can start to feel a counter force. That is a sign that you are closing to the maximum winding.

On similar models, with a screw-down crown, mechanical movement, and date complication yes. Others have different functions and complications.

You need to go forward once again, it is not that safe to go backwards.

How come when I tried to do this my grandma fell down the stairs and literally died on impact? I had to have my friend set it for me, all his grand parents are dead already.
