The instructions with one of my OS engines states that the propeller should be fitted before installing the camshaft, this stops the main shaft moving aft & makes setting the correct position of the timing dot easier.

This video only applies to OS and other four stroke engines following the same design. This is not how to time a Saito engine. Your video title makes the broad statement of how to time a four stroke engine, but not all are timed that way.
