GOLD PROSPECTING DIY: HOW TO SET UP A DRAG COIL WITH THE MINELAB GP 3500 METAL DETECTOR
Hi guys, I'm Ben. It's another gold prospecting video. Today, we'll go through how to set up a drag coil-a coil that can be dragged behind an ATV or other vehicle, using the Minelab GP 3500 metal detector. We will also talk about a little bit about the GP 3500 and why we used it in this pproject amongst all the minelab metal detectors that we have.
This DIY project will enable you to cover a wide area in a short amount of time while also allowing you to find some larger gold nuggets.
Here are the things we used:
1. Coiltek Anti Interference
2. Detector- we use the Minelab GP 3500 detector
3. Pipes
4. Plastic Sheet
5. Rubber Mat
6. Headphone Adaptor- In this tutorial, Airfly Bluetooth- AirFly is a wireless headphone adapter that lets you use your favorite wireless headphones or earbuds in places that only have a headphone jack - like airplanes and treadmills.
