Thanks for sharing your setup. I suppose the 3-way is so that if you get snagged up, you won’t lose your Shad dart. You will only lose your weight. Great job. 👍🙏🎣⚒

How far did you cast out your line? Do you use fluorocarbon leader line for Sacramento River fishing. Going there next week trying to figure out how to fish.

You cast out about 30 yard let sink and retrieve slowly

why three way swivel instead of an inline weight or a split shot weight?

You can use either way to keep the jig down because the the current is too strong

How often do you snag and lose rig? Do not fishing in river so no idea how snaggy it is

@@norcalhooks2025 Thanks. Is the three way rig get tangled sometimes between the sinker and the leader? Mostly I use Carolina rig so probably I shall get some three way swivel as you did. And is right now the shad season already? Consider going American river this Saturday

Shad seasons running strong best time to go fishing at West Sacramento is in the morning to 2 after that you go to Miller Park in the afternoon around 5 to 8
