Execution of the work is elegant and simple. There are many different setups and settings that may be used, and I particularly appreciate the beautiful floor stand Bang & Olufsen have made.

Do we need additional speakers to get true surround sound.Also what happens to the Beosound stage that I have it becomes redundant. Any chances to have software upgrades on that .

Hi Porous! We are happy to answer your questions. Additional speakers are not necessary to experience surround sound given that Beosound Theatre features 7 built-in channels. You can, however, add a total of 16 speakers (8 wireless and 8 wired) to extend your setup. Beosound Stage is still part of our current portfolio and will receive software updates when necessary. very nice product, but out of my price range, how about all the same tech built into a media box, without the amps and speakers, and i use my existing B&O speakers and subs? 8000/6000/4000/balance/beolab2 owner

It’s not a B&O product but a product called Almando Multiplay Surround Decoder III (optional: WISA). You can config the speakers to the model you own and with eARC for TV connection. Nice option if you got a old BeoVision with additional BeoLab speakers but want to just change the panel !
