I like to use a second ratchet strap on the stand for additional security. The top strap shouldn’t break but just in case

I always assemble the ladder on the ground and then stand it up and put the straps around the tree. So much faster

A better way to go around branches is to connect your harness to tree with tree strap before unhooking lineman rope

Great video as always, but never should anyone climb a dead tree bc a safety device isn’t gonna save you if tree falls down.

You shouldn’t climb trees with shagg bark. The bark slips and your stand is gone.

Ditch the prussik knot and buy a ropeman.
