Күн бұрынDo you want to know how to setup any controller on Steam PC with your xbox controller, ps4 or ps5 controller. This is very easy to do. Connect the controller with a USB cable or via Bluetooth. Then launch steam into big picture mode. Go to settings and make sure your controller is set to the correct configuration. Then select calibrate and go through the steps to adjust the gyro and deadzones. Then go to library and launch the game. You can choose custom controller configurations for any game and even games that don't support controllers. ...

U have an issue with my mines when ever my controller is connected on American truck simulator and I go into gameplay the game just freezes.but when I do it with my keyboard only it works fine .what ya think is causing that?

Were you able to configure the PS5 back paddles on Steam? Or did you have to use external software for that?

I haven't been able to find any video on this, but I have both ps5 and and xbox controller. I play pso2 with the xbox controller. My batteries ran out, so I used the ps5 controller since I can't use keyboard and mouse worth anything in that game. Now my xbox controller won't work in the game, but my ps5 controller will and I can't figure out how to get my xbox controller working again. I can move the mouse cursor with the xbox controller on my desktop, so it seems to work fine outside the game.

I need help, my controller layout just can't save any changes I make in the layout screen, everytime I try to change something and hit save it just makes the controller disappear from the menu and reappear with the old layout.

@@BlameAimAssist1717 It's a bit complicated, i hope i still got it after all this time lol. So, you need to manually delete the layout text in a config file i can't remember (edit: found in : Steam\userdata\userid\241100 emote\personalization.vdf", and it will reset the controller entierly, allowing to rebind everything right. At the time i was making hotas support for no man's sky and it took me ages just reseting and restarting so don't do a single error or you will need to restart everything 😭

quick tutorial for any controller that does not support any of this options go to game options and disable steam input i use a xbox krom wich is spanish generic controller and any input from steam lags the joysticks so if your interesting to remove lag just remove any steam input, play whit game options

when i plug my ps4 controller in, it shows the xbox buttons. i have playstaytion controller configuration on and xbox off. it just doesnt want to give me the layout of the ps4 controller.

I have a Logitech controller, but the layout is like a PS controller. it reads ti as an Xbox controller.
