I love all your tutorials. it amazes me how you can literally stop the hoop in the right spot and really break it down step by step. my favorite song to hoop to is Colorado by Louts this song really just flows me and my level of hooping really well and really helps me to just zone out and feel that flow

Hi Deanne! I am a 63 year old grandmother that recently took up hula hooping again after 45 years. I realized I am a total beginner! I have watched quite a few tutorials and you are so pleasant to listen to. I was a belly dancer in my past and I also love the grateful dead and other jam bands. I like a variety of music to make joyful movement, but my favorite that I will try, lol, to hoop dance with is my little grandsons favorite song Dance Monkey. It's so cool that you're doing such an intensive shoulder-hooping set of lessons. I was hooping for six or seven years before I could stand up straight and shoulder hoop without spinning! Now it's one of my go-to positions. Um, my favorite song to hoop to today is "No Sugar in My Coffee" by Caught a Ghost. It's different every day. And thank you for this wireless headphone giveaway. They seem perfect for hooping, and I don't know why I've never thought to find some! (It would keep me from having to listen to my boyfriend's new juggling routine song over and over and over and over while practicing, which has been my one-song practice soundtrack for weeks now as he works on his routine... We share a practice space and I can't hoop with regular earbuds. :))

I'm still obsessed with "can't stop the feeling" by justin timberlake for the trolls movie. I know it's been floating around for a while but everything about this song makes me instantly happy and start bouncing around no matter what I'm doing (including driving lol!!!!) I actually have created a "feel good" playlist on spotify with all songs over the years that either positive/happy (such as "walking on sunshine" or "roar") or take me back to a happy place/time (like outkast's "heya") and I hoop to that whole playlist. Of course, "can't stop the feeling" is on there too and often gets a few repeats each time lol.....

Two Wolves by Nahko and Medicine for the People. it truly makes me feel something magical. I was lucky enough to hoop to this song live this past summer!
