Hey, great video and nice gift idea! I am an artist based in the U.K. and have started using old bike chain for some of my recycled art pieces. Like you, I have soldered parts of bike chain to hold it in certain positions. But I discovered you can save yourself a lot of time (and material) by using the chain breaker tool instead by tightening the pins which will hold them just as good as soldering. Just thought I'd mention it in case it would be useful to someone!

Looks a better technique for when you can rest the solder on top of something.

Great video. A few thoughts - The solder flows into the joint via "capillary action". The Stay-Silv will dry up/harden in the container, but would be usable when a bit of water is added. 56% silver content produces a very strong bond. Nice going!!!!
