Hi Daniel, I'm bookmarking these videos to refer back to after our lesson this morning To anyone reading this who is interested in taking lessons from Daniel: I saw him for one hour today and while I have much more to learn, he shared with me several helpful tools, such as the suggestions from these videos. Having the one-on-one time with him though, so you can apply what he is teaching you while he is listening and able to identify when you struggle, definitely takes it to the next level. I look forward to our next lesson!

Daniel, u always have great info and u keep a very complex subject straight forward and simple. How long does one have to practice stretching before the voice settles into good place? For example, I play guitar. It took me about 5 years until I could just pick it up and play (fast, complex, etc music) without warming up. How long does it take to get the voice to that point?

damn Dan what song are you singing in the intro? You sound a lot like Geoff Tate there imo. Also Dan, you have any opinion on CVT? I'm like you where I'm really starting to not like rigid programs, and instead prefer your simple, song-centric approach. CVT seems good in that there is not set way or scales to practice, but to experiment what works best for you and according to your tastes&preferences.

I can't do either lip rolls or tongue trills....even when I pinch my cheeks to do lip rolls, I can't sustain it for more than a few seconds.
