I hope this slow wheelie tutorial will help you in improving your skills.
Just follow our instructions and training your clutch feeling after that you can start with training your clutch and body timing and this is very important to get front wheel lifted up.
When you are able to lift front wheel quick in air with clutch and body then you need training your balance in the air the most difficult is the side to side balance (left-right), you need move your body a lot on the bike to keep good balance.
For control wheelie height you use throttle to lift the front wheel more in air, but if your wheelie is near balance point then you need use rear brake to prevent crashing.
Keep in mind you need a lot of training to do slow wheelies and it takes good control over the bike, just be very careful and secret for good slow wheelie is clutch control and rear brake.

In the beginning you also could use only rear brake instead of front brake to compress the suspension. Then your foot is always covering rear brake. After that, you can "play" with front brake or both brakes to lift front wheel. P.s. Welcome back to KZfaq, we miss your great content! :)

You make it look so easy!! I sometimes dream that I can wheelie like that and it's easy. But in real life I can't hold the front wheel up for more than 2 seconds if I go slow xD

Try a smaller bike might make you feel more at ease with falling. Trying on a xr 70 really helps to focus on covering the rear brake also compression and timing

That's a great vid. It's very clear how hard this technique is even to you guys. I just started dirt bike riding 3 months ago (I'm much older) and I'm practicing but it's so hard. It's been raining for 6 months in Vancouver, can't wait for some sunny weather.
