1. DAP: Draw a picture of the body in question. 2. KNU: List the knowns n unknowns relevant to the problem. 3. EQN: Select the appropriate equation for the problem. 4. SSF: Solve the equations symbolically first. 5. CYA: Check your answer by asking, "Does this make physical sense".

I hope this method works. 1 year ago I failed physics that lead to that I was forced to study economics (that I don't even like for a bit), but now you gave me hope that I can be good at it. =)

That's the same technique that my teacher used. I always find it long and a headache to sit and watch taking all that time to draw.etc While other teachers are providing quick methods to the same type of question and arriving towards the same answer.. I'm not saying that it's a bad method but as a student taking part in International exams, i don't think that doing that would allow me to answer all questions on time. I mean it's not like i have all day to sit for an exam, you know? But it is really helpful and logical method. Thanks :)

Sir, the video is extremely helpful. I completely agree with you about solving equation symbolically first as it can give insight about special cases etc But when there is a time constraint it becomes difficult to do this. What do you say.

All of this sounds really good but can someone verify that it works? As in, will it work if you have no idea what to do but know (approximately) the equation you might have to use because you have a formula booklet? (what I'm doing for 90% of my IB Physics exam this Friday lolol rip)
