i dont usually comment on videos but this was just so cute and deserves some recognition! i've noticed this in myself that if my schedule is too busy i have no time to think of new ideas..

Thank you! That's certainly the sort of boost I needed! And yeah this all works fine and good if you still have energy left over from work and other responsibilities...still figuring out how to fit all that into a creative life.

Like the person below, I am not a commenter. I just need to thank you for making this video, it really clicked that in order to make space for ideas to flow, I can't be in a state of constant distraction. Because I struggle with rumination, i feel nervous to let my mind wander, and do all my chores with a video or podcast playing in the background. I feel very creatively blocked and I'm realizing how much this has to do with it. You have provided some really practical ways to enter a flow state, and I feel alongside developing my mindfulness practice, I can begin to use the time i spend alone to get really imaginative!

This is quite honestly really high praise...I hope that this silly video will help you to reconnect with that creativity that you have inside you. Keep your hands busy with automatic tasks, I promise it works and also it ends up giving you a clean house which helps with mental clutter as well! Win win. Thank you for your words.

Things that work for me: doing the dishes (LOL), washing the windows. And a BIG one: pulling weeds! 😮 I used to HATE doing that. But the last couple of years, i find it makes me go into Zen mode. I usually wait until there's a LOTTT of weed. Then i take my bucket and gloves and just start pulling. From one to the next. And repeat. I can usually do this for a little over an hour before my back is done with it. 😬 AND! Then there's the aftermath: a huge dopamine and endorphin rush of having accomplished so much in so little time, seeing that before/after. 😊😅 Can't wait for the weather to get better and the weeds to thrive. 😂 Thanks for the tips! 👍 🖤

That is exactly what I'm talking about! I don't have a yard so I would've never come up with this, but this sounds like a perfect activity to get into the flow! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts.
