Some of these old videos are great, but hard to watch given the amazing quality of your current videos!

Daaaaamn that varnish is super matte. I like it! it made a world of difference. I think these look super awesome for a speed paint.

Mineral Spirits aka Turpentine to clean up the brushes. I use army painter for a lot of different things. I do use a brush to apply exclusively, I like to have two brushes one to apply and another to remove I spend a few extra seconds on each mini to really make sure I don't have any poopled up areas or areas to avoid bubbles. I think you'll find for things like those zombies you really can end up with a table top quality army in a fraction of the time.

That was the longest week of my life. I used my whole buffer of old videos. So if you could make a few more please! Thank you for sharing your hobby with us.

Would which part work? Not the Quickshade over white. I have two other vids on painting white.
@ThePaintingClinic11 жыл бұрын
Don't think I did. The Quickshade is super glossy, so it's likely just some of the gloss still showing thru after the flat varnish was applied.

This is only the second time I've used it.

No clean up and no thinning for the varnish.
@prophet8911 жыл бұрын
I believe the can of army painter says what kind of thinner can be used with it. I believe its mineral spirits. I would still use a crappy brush, but at least you could clean them a bit

Nice video. How would this work on high elves in ur opinion? I can paint a lot of things but good guy armies I suffer in shading whites and such...plus I don't like painting good armies and prefer evil types with my style.

I use hardware store oil paint thinner to clean brushes of polyurethane and have not had any kind of problem.

I like your technique and I subbed to your channel to view your other vids about painting. I'm getting back into miniatures after a long hiatus and I need to learn new techniques. Your zombies are very close to my vision of how I want my zombies to appear. Thanks for taking time to post your videos.

I have done my 60+ Zombies and Ghouls the same way. Its easy and the result is very good for such dirty earthy creatures.

Good video. I have to say that I am really impressed with the final results. I am going to give this a go on my Mantic skeletons, got more than a hundred to paint up. So I thank you for the heads up! 8-)

Did you go back and hit these with highlights after? The guts look kind of bright still, looks good.
@wetwillyccma11 жыл бұрын
You might want to go back with some semi gloss or gloss clear and touch up some bloody or gore parts to give them the realistic wet look.
