In this video, Natalie Bogwalker demonstrates her method for staking tomatoes for maximum height utilizing simple natural materials you may have free access to: bamboo poles. Once you've obtained some bamboo poles they will last for years before they become too brittle to use as a trellis for your tomatoes anymore, and they don't take up a lot of space to store in a pile or leaning against a shed in the winter. With some bamboo and biodegradable twine you should have everything you need for strong and tall tomato trellises.
