I've just bought one of these for my gardening business. It's a real step up from my Honda HRX! I worried a bit about comments on the old model- especially about its inability to pick up wet grass - but it's done a superb job, well tested in this rainy autumn we're having. My customers love the stripes: they're immaculate with this mower. So far, so good: an impressive machine, built in Britain too.

@Peter Dunn Hello, Peter. Two years down the line and I find myself recently retired. My leaving present to myself was to keep this brilliant mower. It has almost always started first pull, is as robust as ever and well up to the task of cutting several lawns a day. Cutting wet grass is a challenge for every mower and I can't say it's any better or worse than the Hondas I have owned. Since every single customer had a lawn - some really quite large - I depended on my Hayter Harrier Pro to make a living. It never let me down and I owe it one! Like me, it'll have an easier life now.

Very close to buying one of these, I think they're worth every penny with the quality, but it's still an awful lot of money!

Hi Rob do they still run fast as I brought one in 2019 and felt like Linford Christie after had to go but been told they have slowed them down a little now is that true. Which is better collecting in the wet Hayter 48Pro or the Stihl RM655RS.
