I focused on a 279e one game and the player sent me messages for 3 days afterwards. My standard responses to angry messages are "You mad bro?" or "You take your cartoon tanks way too seriously."

Every time I get the "7 critical hits" daily mission, I just use this.

Best mod invented for Artillery, the mod that tanks have to auto use med kit/tool kit. I love to see it when hitting a group of tanks, clear stun immediately, then bam hit them again. Lovely stuff.

I can confirm I used the middle gun for the FV because it's only a 5-second longer reload - it delivers much bigger punches in exchange of slightly worse gun handling characteristics.

The SPG's lack of conformity compared to other vehicles in WOT leads to the anti SPG players wanting SPG's out of the game. An old argument featured many times on WG's forums. I used the analogy that knights in chess do not "conform" like other pieces, namely they don't move in a straight/ diagonal line. I don't think I've heard any chess player stating knights should be banned from chess.

Dear Mr. Kellerman A KW-1 (KV-1) is about 7 meters long and 3,5 meters wide and 3 meters tall. The question here is the following though: Does wargaming say that the shell can do damage in a radius of 7-15 meters around the tank or do the mean that the shel will do damage 7-15 meters (example) around the center of impact of the shell ? i always understood that a splash radius is measured from the center of the impact, though. But this is tricky. Because those shells are not just droping straight down from the skies. So i would expect that there is more impact energy on the front of the impact crater than on the back side. So in the end i think Wargaming gives a shit about all those numbers and they just spill out a random number that is based on the nationalities of the tanks :)

Good advice for those who don't know. I use the target marker a lil different though. I let them know where I'm aiming so that,. they know they can poke or that I'm covering thier advance. If they are nose hugging , I'm not bothered if they get stuned as well,. it doesn't do any damage to them. The main thing is the enemy gets taken out faster.

It's not stealing anything. SPGs don't usually spot their own targets, just as every other class doesn't cause stun, which makes it easier for every other class to kill the enemy. The hatred shown to arty by so many is beyond stupid. I've been on numerous (too many to count) teams that include Muppets who refuse to shoot a stunned enemy tank just because the person knows arty will get credit for the damage and XP. How do I know? Because they brag about it even though their nonsense contributes greatly to a loss. The Lorr did in fact, finish on top. He had more damage, and more XP than anyone else.

I never mark the ground; I've found that my muppet teammates tend to flock to it and I'm the one who turns blue because of their stupidity.

I was in arty and the last enemy was hiding in a tight corner. I marked him and let rip as my allies crowded into him. Unfortunately he died just before my shell shot and I stunned 4 team-mates and I went blue for the rest of the day...

That laugh Claus lets out when the SPG rounds are blasting tanks is why people play SPGs. :) This video made me think about how I miss the good old days when this game was more fun. Back when SPGs were a lot more fun to play because they were more effective, did not have that stupid stun mechanic, and could platoon in teams of up to 3. This game has never been great but it used to be fun and when they started removing things like team damage, SPG only platoons, effective HE shells for most tanks, and added things like those silly vheeled wheicles (klown kars), too many completely unbalanced premium tanks, and stun effects to SPG rounds they ruined it. I haven't played in years and won't unless they roll things back to the way they used to be. I was never a big spender but I did toss some cash toward Wargaming from time to time, and now they get zero dollars from me. Maybe I'm better off not playing, not paying, but even if that's true I still miss the days when this game was fun to play.

I have the tier 8 in this line, my favorite spg. Gotta get this one next!.

Several years ago I won my 1st raider award with a french arty since was pretty fast and the remanent enemy was quite slow and far.

WG's magic numbers include pen, damage, and distance from target. I fire HEAT shell hit track zero damage they fire HEAT back hit track 500 damage knock out track kill 3 crew members. My best was a KV-2 HE shell into teir 7 American scorpion zero damage hit shield response.

@Cluas, real question about stealing XP. Where does the XP go on the second shot in this case. 1) A tanks spots a red tank, 2) B tank tracks a the spotted red tank that was spotted by the A tank, 3) C tank damages the tracked and spotted tank. On this seconds damage shot, how is he damages give out between the three tanks?

Bc 155 58 is the best T10 gun. 3 shot burst then 45s reload, enough time to drive half the map every time you reload.... The fastest spg.... Turret so 360 fire.... FV Blahblahblah is like trying to hide a house....

What would happen if an SPG would spot AND stun - how much xp would that steal?

Classic Russian thought process: why reward teammates for teamwork, no, we divide the XP that 1 person would get, doing all that damage amongst those who participate xD instead of everyone getting a slice of bread, in Russia they share 1 slice!

Oh and by the way Mr. Kellerman. I have my doubts about this 50% XP steal. in fact i could not find any site on the wargaming server (also not in asia) that says that you get 50% assist damage XP. And i would expect that 6000 assist damage would push the base XP of the british SPG a little bit higher than just 200 XP above the French one. I mean there is a difference of 4500 assist damage, right ? Maybe the FV just got more XP because he could kill some tanks and hit more shots or could damage a broader variety of tanks or mainly damaged tier 10 tanks ? So i am sorry but i am not sure, if what you are publishing here is actually true.

Hey Claus. I go into WOT to play tanks . Doing my thing and wham get hit by a SPG from the other side of the map. We all know why there are SPG's in the game. Instead of a 15 minute game WOT can cram in 5 games of 3 minutes. Only reason I watched this is because it's raining here in Nova Scotia. LOL. You say SPG players are people too. as much as wg says the rng is not manipulated i call it bs, if a player uses all standard ammo the player will get worse rng because wg manipulates the game, Then the same player in the same tank using all prem ammo that players rng will be 70% better, this is a form of wg manipulation they do this so players spend credits and then inlew players spend real cash from the mom and dads credit cards and wg makes more cash, if wg gave both ammo types the same rng wg would not make as much so with the prem ammo you get a significant improved rng, To many time wg say they do not gain from the the manipulation i call this bs wg makes more when they give the prem ammo better rng so player spend real cash WG LIES
