Great vid. Another way you can do this while standing is to get your opposite arm to hold your racquet elbow in place. Also it would be better to stop at contact in the developing phase. It will help to have a cleaner center strike. JMHO.

I’d like to hear your approach on dealing with receiving the spin of the ball (top spin, slice) and does your approach differ to counter act the spin.

No one with a good volley pops their elbow at the ball like that. The shoulder muscle is stronger. Watch the players you placed in your video

Good drill.... the problem is that your " show and tell " is is not balanced ... you tend to talk too much and show little !!.... a video of 2 minutes should be enough man .
