Needed this encouragement today. Stopping to set up my studio now so I can get back to painting. Setting aside time this week to work through one of the lessons in Acrylic University!

I'd like to add something to your recommendations. Experimentation, you can try new things to get started, or just fooling around. The other day I grab some paints, very unusual colors, and some gac100 and make them very fluid. I started painting making textures and let them dry. Then i painted a couple of sunflowers over it. It looked great, the texture i made gave the impression of free brush work. I frame it and feel very good about it.
