How long can an opened vial of BTEX standard 30213, in the extra amber vial provided, be stored in a freezer?

That can vary quite a bit. Components in a BTEX standard are quite volatile, so making sure there is a good seal on the vial and that temperatures are kept low will be very important. Other factors, like a pieced septa on the storage vial can also dramatically reduce the storage time. If you have excess standard and plan to occasionally draw out some for use, you may wish to separate your standard in to several vials before you cold store them. Then, use each vial separately. Repeated warming and opening of one vial would be much more likely to cause loss/degradation.
