You're a stylist? Please help stop this madness. This shaggy wet dog look is the ugliest style women have worn in decades! The landscape is littered with this eyesore. Suggest styles that are beautiful: the backcomb, the low pony tail teased, the side swept bangs, the deep side part, pouf, the half-up half-down, the messy bun, side pony tail with volume, simple headband, and the classic bump. Please help them to stop wanting to look like wet dogs. Thank you.

Same when I got mine :D only now 6 months later I get what my hairdresser did for me :)) so happy with it, going back for cutting the top layers and bangs shorter. Once u go shag u never go back!!!

Omg, I cried too! I had my hair to my butt and at that length it was more annoying to brush, wash, and keep it from getting caught in my fan, car door, car window, my armpit, or even my crack in the shower😂 But the change from the cut was shocking. I loved the hair cut but all the hair at the hairdresser's feet was overwhelming for me a bit so ended up crying a bit🤣 i like my medium shag because I feel it brings out more of my personality than always having it in a bun.

First, you have a lovely personality! This is a long how-to video in my world, but it truly flew by. Second, thanks for explaining the purpose of each product. With all the products with texture/volume/definition in their names, I have many partially used disappointing products. You named some things I didn't even know existed, so that was super helpful!

Not to be dramatic, but this video changed my life. 😅 I’ve been so unhappy with my hair, thinking my hair stylist just cut my hair wrong and it wasn’t a shag. Turns out, the problem is me and I just didn’t know what I was doing. I had a shag all along it was just hidden behind incorrect styling. THANK YOU

i got a shag a few days ago i left the salon in love by the way the stylist did it.. i cannot do hair at all and i was crying because i couldn't get my hair too look nice but your video SAVED me!!! it came out sooo good for my first time! still need to work on the long sides of the bangs but it looks good already

Love your hair style, a shag technically is longer at the back (like a long mullet) . Doesnt look like a shag, love it though. Looks like you have a lob with curtain bangs x

So I'm not a morning person or let's just say, I'm dang lazy. I've got relatively fine hair with a bit of a natural wave and though I love your style, I'm not prepared to take the time to style it that much. Would you say the shag is the right haircut for me then?

@@MariePerie Hey! I've got a super choppy shag haircut and when my hair isn't styled, it just sits quite naturally and look like a regular haircut. I would say it is achievable if you don't want to style it! It just won't look like a "shag", it'll look a lot less edgy

I am the exact same way. But Im more of a heartless curls type. I set my hair the night before after a wash. But If you wanna have “good looking bang days” you gotta take the time to do them. Just a quick wash and dry and if really feeling it. Product. Styling cream/paste. Thickening spray or cream. But those days when I don’t feel like dealing with them. I just twist them back. Clip them or bun it up. I thought shags just kinda form into that look. But you gotta take the time to fix it up or it looks funny. Unless you have a nice curl to your hair. But good luck !
