While logically reasonable, it's unlikely you'll ever need one. I have friends with tiny homes in the mountains, a buried Conex box, and the whole survival kit thing, but it's not a new concept. This conspiratorial generation has a heightened sense of paranoia. Primarily due to social media (youtube) video hype. It's the excitement of believing everything is a conspiracy these days and it's based on persuasive but utter misinformation. My philosophy is it's better to have and not need than to need and not have, so I'm not opposed to the idea. I just think the chances of needing it are extraordinarily low and there's a lot of things these people haven't taken into account. You can't hide from technology in 2020. Not even 35 feet under the ground. It's a false sense of security, but it might buy you a little time if nothing else. With that said, you'll read this comment 10-15 years from now and I venture to say civilization will still be standing and no one will be coming to take you away to any camp. Anarchy isn't a new concept either. It's happened many times throughout history, as have chaotic movements of sorts. Be prepared if you like and it makes you sleep better.

I think it’s safe to say that pretty much all of the office characters didn’t really have their personalities decided yet in the first season or so. Dwight is the one character that has always been. And he never really changed either
