Most of the Time i am flying my drone while my pocket is doing a timelapse!!! Its a great time saver to get extra footage and B-Roll!!!

I've been looking at the Pocket 3 as a vlogging camera for my channel videos. It is so small compared to my cameras, that it would be great at not drawing attention. Now, with this timelapse feature I can really add variety to my videos.

Dammit! You had me so excited to think I could do astro lapses for a second there. Ive tried some astro with mine and didnt get good results. It would be awesome if I could shoot longer duration with this bad boy. Good video as alway my friend

What if i just want the camera to record from predefined point 1 to point 2 normally in normal speed, while i am in the frame (but do not want to track myself, and do not want to do it manually real time from the app). So just normal automated recording and not a "lapse".

As always, good stuff Vic. I notice the volume of Pocket 3 videos from across the web has nosedived a bit - just when the buying public is finally getting the opportunity to spend some quality time with it. I hope you continue to deliver with this one as your content is always first rate.

Amazing video Vic, the motion lapse function is the main reason I bought the OP3. I understand the reason why you set the camera into auto mode for the motion lapse before dark as the lighting will change dramatically. Can you also share why you keep the setting at ISO800 Max? And it seems the shutter speed can't not be slower than 1 sec.

Cheers! Anything above 800 can introduce noise, depending on the setup and lighting conditions (if push comes to shove, I wouldn't EVER go above 1600) - Shutter can't go below 1 sec

shutter can't go any slower than 1 sec is exactly why i cancelled my amazon order of the op3 and keep the pocket 2 with nd 1000 for amazing motionlapses.
