For the past 8 months, I have been consistently implementing the knowledge I get from you, Patrick, as a father of 2 boys myself. When my kids work towards something, they have a clear goal, it's visual, it's a vision board. I realized that I need to intervene less in their behavior or sudden outbursts because they realize what they did is not congruent with their long term plan for success. They come to me, tell me what happened, ask me if they did the right thing or not, and how to adjust. We talk and we work together towards them achieving their goals and dreams - displayed on a shelf in front of them. This way of educating them led to a better relationship within the household. The only ones not benefitting from this are those who come from the outside, relatives, grandparents, friends, who have no idea what educational entrepreneurship means and what it's long term benefits are. I ignore those people or eliminate them if they try to impose their will and rules.

Not only entrepreneurship is important to teach. When you get them started is to teach them on early age recouping of profit for reinvestment. "The true growth of business" Awesome teaching Pat ! Keep going strong, we love you !!

Pat, I'm envious of your kids. I learned a great deal from my parents. Dad taught me a rock solid, don't quit till its done work ethic and mom taught me how to communicate to a high level, but I could only imagine if I would've learned the things you have on this list... I would be 3x further! Thanks for sharing and I cant wait till I can pass this on to my future kids.

It's an absolute discussed if anybody thumbs-down this talk, you are spot-on! Power to the entrepreneurs! That's what made our country great. Another great video you've done. Truely inspiring. Do you think entrepreneur mindset something purely learnt through education or some things are inborn? I mean some people are just born employees and they simply wouldn't be happy as entrepreneurs. What if one of your kids decides to get a job instead of being an entrepreneur? I have to say I appreciate that you mention the environment because parent gradually lose their influence on kids as the go to school, get friends etc and no matter what you do, they simply don't spend enough time with you.

Patrick Bet David, can you show more how your business is doing other than the youtube biz? Great videos but it would be fun to see you show a bit more what you do in your other business as a real life case study once in a while. The reason I'm asking is that it's always wise to check the background and net worth of who you're learning from. Right now, it seems as if youtube is your main money maker because you're making 1 video a day

Pat! I don't know if you'll see this but do you consider your employees at PHP Entrepreneurs? I have owned my own company for a few years and have made the decision to return to my former employer. It is a consultative sales position that helps people develop their inventions into actual products. I worked there for 6 years prior to starting my business. Now that my business is changing to a strictly ecommerce platform I have additional time and am choosing to fill it with a base plus commission sales position. Maybe a video idea, "Can employees, still be entrepreneurs?" .....by getting my employer to provide the freedom of making my own schedule and providing me the resources to Work from home with the addition of a generous base salary plus 13-21% commission based on sales level per month. I almost feel like this career is an entrepreneurial endeavor. Thoughts???
