This is a screen repair tutorial video on how to teardown and replace the LCD and glass screen on your Apple iPhone 12. (The entire OLED + Digitizer + Glass screen + frame assembly)
It's the same procedure and same glass screen used for all carrier models.

1. Pentalope screwdriver
2. Y Tip Tri Tip screwdriver
3. Small Phillips head screw driver
4. Hair dryer, Heat gun or Hot Plate.
5. Prying tool

Should put a new seal in when removing screen and clean the old one off. Also test before reassembly

When all of the cables and battery are connected, turn the phone on while it's still disassembled to make sure everything is connected and working so you don't have to disassemble it again incase there's a lose connection. Just be careful not to touch any of the internal components or holding any tools while it's on. Then turn it off again once you're certain the screen is working and normal and continue assembling the phone.

Face ID won’t work, the camera will malfunction. It other words the iPhone part are now paired digitally some of the parts won’t function again.🙂

Just wondering anyone know why the screen keep blackout after the screen replacement? Tested on 3 different screen, but still the same. And went to the repair shop, and they can make the screen on when using their screen? It's weird... Would like to save a hundred bucks :(

Do you not need to use some sort of glue to hold the screen down? Or do you just press it back into place?

I think you just need to press down and that’s it, no glue needed

I'd heard Apple made it a lot harder to self-repair the iPhone 12. Is there anything else that needs to be done? From this video it doesn't look any more complicated than replacing the screen on a 6s, simpler even since there's no need to mess with a physical home button/its connections.

If you want 3rd party or diy you will loose Face ID & True Tone + notifications from apple of unauthentic parts if you don’t mind those then yea
