So sorry for the loss of your mother! I have a question about my pointe shoes. These are my first pair and they are not showing signs of being weak in the shank or box but suddenly they offer no support at all so that it's hard to do anything. They are a beginner shoe, capezio Kylee, with the softest shank and I had danced in them daily for two weeks when this happened. Any ideas? Are they dead?

I'm so guilty of this. I dance in my shoes until It'so soft that I can't hold myself for longer that a sec and I can literally invert platform!

It feels like my pointe shoes are dying in a couple of months...i had pointe shoes class last night and if i take right now my pointe shoes and try to bend them or squise them i can't easily do it, but for example yesterday after some exercises on pointe (when they got warm) it really felt like they were very broken in, so does that mean they are really dead or just "warm"

Help! I wear Grisko 2007's in a hard shank, and they still die within 8-12 hours of me wearing them. I have very high arches and very strong ankles, but when my shoes die that fast, the cost really adds up. My teacher would prefer me to stay in Grisko's but she would be ok with me changing my brand. Any suggestions?
