@@AdamMechanic particularly for me as I was seeing it trickle charge ok and have the volts and then scraping my head on why it wouldn't start. Going to get an AMP clamp

Good stuff, let me know how you get on! It’s worth checking the battery clamps too, make sure they are all tight between the clamps and cables too.

Without starting, the current is about 12A . I think after turning of key the amp should be within 100 milli ampere range

nice but expensive meter

They can be, bought this one for about £45. Pretty handy to have over time.

385.2 A... is that a good value ? how do u know that your battery still good ?
@AdamMechanic9 ай бұрын
Hi, you would want the battery to be outputting at least 70% of the amperage that is stated on the battery label.
@oussmi218 ай бұрын
Hello, 385.2 A is the number of ampere that remains or is it the number of ampere that was used on the total capacity of the battery??
@AdamMechanic8 ай бұрын
Hi @@oussmi21 , that is the battery amperage used, it is not total possible amps output. If the weather was colder, or the starting system had a poor connection for instance, the amperage would be a little higher.

@@oussmi21 i think it's a remains current in the battery

@@Ladiesman7790 Yesss I had confirmation I asked my car preparer he told me that what is displayed on the screen is what remains as power at the battery
