I've turned off the internal RF,All firmware has been updated,Not sure what to do ?

Ive got the big R9M receiver. Cant i just connect from the S.port on the receiver straight to the pins in the module bay?

Is flashing onto the R9mini the same as the R9Slim, just having to solder the pins?

I run 3s in my taranis I don’t think I can do this as that pin is vbat and would be supplying 12v to the rx

my QX7 does not have pins in the S port. Do I use the pins in the module bay as described for the X9D?

Hi, thank you for the video, it helped a lot. Unfortunately, when I got to the firmware upgrade for the r9 slim receiver, I do not have an option to "flash external device", the options I have are..."flash S. port device" or "flash Rx by est.OTA" when I choose either option it does not recognise the receiver nor does it update. I have tried the update on a profile with the r9m module installed and a module without the r9m. When picking the option with the r9m module, the receiver will turn red even before I get to the firmware update, whereas with yours, it only turns red when you select "flash external device". When I choose a model without the r9m, it is as yours is showing without a light on the receiver only offers one option "flash S.port device" and when selected, it says no device can be found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@TweetFPV should it work with both Eu or FCC version of opentx or for EULBT openTX you have to flash the EULBT version of the r9m firmware?

Hello! how do you configure the adaptive power output on the r9m?

I usually remove the SD card put it in my laptop copy the extracted firmware files, put it back in the QX7, seems much faster and less complicated for beginners especially. I wish FrSky would automate this process.

A friend said, you need to update the firmware starting from the first update and going up.. But I see yours just done the latest available firmware. Did you jump right to it or youbhave done the old firmwares first?

I updated mine today on my QX7. I wasn't thinking and plugged the con 1 wire into the con 2 socket. The polarity was wrong way around and I tried to update the firmware. I realised soon after. I hope it isn't fried.

Do I need smartport to flash? Or can I connect to sbus in? I run clracing and there is only one urt and I'm using smart audio. I planned on running r9m receiver on sbus. Can I do that??

I keep getting error message from my R9 receiver. The module was updated, no problems there. But the receiver (it's a R9) does not talk to my Taranis or bind to the external module. Perhaps I have a dud? Or am I missing something.

I want to use an old 72mhz radio with this system. How would I update it without a taranis?

when I chose the file the only thing I get as an option is to delete it. So aggravated with the R9. I do have the first R9 and have never been able to update it.

Crossfire does not care about their customers you are meat on the plate I waited and waited for this R9 Mini 2 come out and now they double the price Crossfire looks better and better Crossfire actually cares about their customers and releases free updates and when people ask for stuff they actually listen exact opposite of FR sky

If i select no telemetry, can I get the rssi on an aux channel? Im using the new r9mm rx, and the only firmware for fcc doesnt mention an aux rssi default channel. As long as you can get an rssi value in osd, turning telemetery off helps range.
