I don’t get my surgery till November so this is what I’m gonna be doing for months and months and months!!!😹 what else do you make on yours? I subscribed to your channel I think last week. I’m gonna start a KZfaq channel pretty soon myself. I usually drive a dump truck and take down trees for a living but I won’t be doing that for a while so I am going to open up an Etsy store and other miscellaneous things. i’m already so in love with this machine and I already made my first hat! I just watched your video as I am considering buying the Addi Express Knitting Machine. I like your demonstration and I feel this will be something I can use. Just had carpal and cubital tunnel surgery and I am not sure if I will be able to go back to the old fashioned way of knitting. Thank you for the details.

Of course I can definitely do a better up close on how to do this step! Once you tie them together you just see your ends in to hide them 💗

Hello. Thanks for this tutorial. My Addi arrived today. I’m planning on trying it out tomorrow. Have one question, if I may? After you cinched the inside top closed, I didn’t notice you tying the two ends together. Wondering, does this mean that the hat could have the inner cinched end pulled out from the bottom? What is the difference between finishing this way or using scrap yarn to start/finish? Is it just preference?

Unless you are making a draw string close like a beanie you want to use the scrap yarn

How much yarn do you use for one of these hats? I have a lot of size 4 yarn I want to use up but was curious how much yarn these things take. They aren't very cheap so I want to make sure I know what I'm getting into and if I can use it.

Ive TRIED to make 4 different caps & EVERYTIME I wind up with huge HOLES in the caps. Ive tried going slow - tried going fast & the holes are all over the place. Is it me? Is it the machine? Help. wish I could attach a photo.

I'm not super experienced with it, but ot sounds like a tension issue. Either too tight or not tight enough. If you have a ball of yarn it could be bouncing too much and yanking back

This is a teen to adult. Depending on how many rows you do you can make your hat longer or shorter. About 85-90 rows for a child

I have issues with some yarns but the Addi is definitely worth the investment. It has a lot less issues than the others I in my opinion
