Should I use a degreaser after washing car, before SRP?

When should I use Super Resin Polish? Every time before Extra Gloss Protection? Only on paintwork with haze/swirls or also on healthy paintwork? Will it clean paint like cleaner products? Will putting EGP on top of SRP increase gloss or it doesn't matter?

Hello. I heard that cleaners/erasers/ipa will remove Extra Gloss Protection. Should I just use Resin Polish after washing car and do not use Ipa etc. for degrease before applaying another layer of EGP?

Depending on the strength of the IPA, you should never really use that unless you specifically want to remove materials, since that's its main purpose. Use SRP and then EGP, but no IPA.

I use a “dry as you wax” spray after washing. Will I need to remove that wax before applying this?

Yes. Super Resin Polish is a final cleaner and polish and if you also want to boost with wax or coating, then it goes on after.

can this be applied on a car that has been waxed before...?

The cutting compound will strip back the wax a little, though it depends how long the wax has been on there. More than six months, then yes, use SRP before wax. Less than six months, you probably don't need SRP right now.

How many polish cloth do i require to complete the car? Also do you require to clean the applicator pad after each panel to prevent build up?

I applicator will last you ages, if you keep it nice and clean. Polishing cloths; how long is a piece of string? Generally 1, maybe 2 but no more, as long as you're turning it regularly!

hi autoglym > whats the average wait time before buffing off with a microfiber towel ? ive heard that you can leave the residue on for a longer period of time before buffing. is this true ? thx :)

You can leave it as long as you like, really. Super Resin Polish doesn't dry harder, the long it's applied, like other polishes. We recommend applying polish to the whole car, then buffing from where you started polishing (so, following the same sequence). Easy peasy and that's plenty of time.

No, SRP is for painted surfaces only. To restore black plastic trim, try Bumper & Trim Gel instead.

It may. Sometimes holograms can be deeper, though swirl marks are no match for SRP!

Newbie😂.....You need to respect one of the pioneers of the detailing world. Autoglym changed the game and SRP is much SAFER on your skin and cars than ceramic.

Hard too control the abrasion on a machine. We don't recommend SRP for machine. There are plenty of other machine compounds out there. SRP is for hand application.
