I love your videos so much! I'm incredibly thankful for all your tutorials! I've watched lots of GarageBand tutorials because I really want to learn as much as I can and your tutorials are the bests ones I've found, so thank you so so much for your hard work and I hope your amazing songs and youtube channel have lots and lots of success ❤️ On another note, I really want to record covers on GarageBand with an instrumental track and my voice, but I'm struggling with how the song at the end sound like a cover that I recorded with my iPhone rather than a proper made song. I really want my covers to sound professional so that later I can record my own songs, but the part that I'm most interested in is how to make my voice sound professional, like a real song. I would appreciate it so much if you would help me with this or make a video regarding singing recording. By the way I'm a Soprano. Again, thank you so much for the video!!!!

Really appreciate your tutorials with my epilepsy this helps alot would love to continue to learn about reverb and delay and all other things to make my production sound full and complete master them the right way play full synth patterns and learn everything I need to learn will continue to watch your tutorials while I'm also taking classes with Varsity tutors 🙏🙏💯🎶

Garageband on IOS, (my iPad and phone) has the "Extreme Tuning" feature that automatically fixes your vocals to the key of the song. Why this feature isn't incorporated on Mac is beyond me. Such a great feature that saved me extreme amounts of frustration. Just gotta Mac and I can't do shit smh

@@Sam26836 i wish i could show you lol (Strictly IOS) its different getting to it on the iphone than the the ipad but its same exact feature. What’re you using? Open a vocal track and pull up the recording menu (you can click the record button and it should take you there, just hit stop) There are different microphone options to record from, (Lead Singer, Narrator, Sweet Chorus etc.) Look for the “Fun” option next to under “Producer Effects”.. You’ll find Extreme Tuning, Dreamy, Monster, Robot effects and all..

If you didn't set the key before you started recording, and then change it in the top of the window, it pitch-shifts all your recorded audio. How can I change the key of the project without pitch shifting my audio?

Hey Jet, yes, good point. I don't actually know the answer there. However, why do you want to switch the key? If it's for using apple loops or quantization. Then you can transpose the key to use those features.

@@CharlesCleynAutotune matches the key set for the project. If you are recording vocals and forgot to set the right key at the start then your recordings already made will get pitch shifted if you change it. I found a solution.... 1. Select a track, and make sure you have all the recorded regions on that track selected. Press 'E' to see the pitch correction settings. Click on the Region button to change to that menu. Scroll to the bottom if it and uncheck 'Follow Temp & Pitch'. You need to do this on any recorded tracks before changing the key of the project.

Hey Cazzy, there are many different options of paid autotunes. You get them from the company itself. For example, waves or antares are two companies that both offer paid autotunes.

You can either get an UAD audio interface or you can buy it from UAD too!
