Hi Krystel, well a question , related to the manufacturer barcode. well we see products in the market having same barcode used in several places (e.g. pepsi , cocacola) and all supermarkets use the same without a problem. My question is why every seller in Amazon should identify the same product for a unique barcode from the manufacturer as long as sellers are different. In your explanation case if I'm selling for example (UniBall blue pen) for sure others are selling the same but finally in the amazon warehouse each seller has his own storage section so how it matters

When you are selling a unique items then you need to use a unique barcode - if you are a reseller then use the manufacturers barcode

If you are manufacturing then purchase the barcodes from GS1 directly under your own company name

You need a barcode to list the product but the barcode does not have to be physically on the product for FBM :)

My question is eg I saw some air pod accessories bag or cover it's packing don't have any name or code so how I can get letter from its manufacturer that it's gtin should be exempted. Like I am buying from local mkt and he imported from someone else may be.

You don’t need a letter normally - just try to proceed with the exemption but make sure that you don’t sell branded items
