Hey Mike I work out early in the morning at about 6:30. I usually stop eating at 9:30pm. I usually drink a pre workout (yours right now) with glutamine, creatine, your Pheonix fat loss pills, bcaa's and ultima electrolytes. Will drinking this take me out of fasted state? Thanks!! Another great Video and appreciate the quality of the Pulse and Phoenix. Will buy again. When is the post workout product going to be available?

Hey Mike. I enjoy the thoroughness of your videos. Thanks. I have a question that I am not sure if you've answered below already. I take no supplements at all. I'm trying to go as natural as possible. I am a pescatarian and am having so much trouble losing the stubborn fat you mentioned. I've only lost it once in my life and that was me training constantly 6 days a week with less than 120g carbs a day for 3 months. I am not sure how to solve this riddle in my body. I eat very healthy and often train fasted. Its hard to gauge my habits from such a short post, but can you suggest somethings that I might be overlooking?

Hey Mike. Great video. Sorry if you’ve already answered this, but how long after a workout should you wait to eat when training fasted? Or does it matter as long as you’re in a fasted state during the workout? Thanks for all the info you post. It’s saved me from getting overwhelmed and misled by all the ‘quick fix’ gimmicks I’ve come across.

I've done exactly what you talked about in your video I have increased my calorie intake just a little using fruits salads and vegs. I did do some damage to my BRM earlier. My intake was very low so I've increased it since July 20 ever so slowly making sure I'm full all day long but not to much and I think I have achieved a good balance but like everything else in life I'm monitoring my body.I only do the fasted work outs every three days because they are a lot harder on the body but again your advise really works so thanks.

Hi Mike, Great job! I listened to all you podcast and following your bigger leaner stronger training with great results. I have been on KETO diet for a year and for about six months I intermittent fasting and also training fasted during the week. I'm 6'2 and 188lbs, got lean from 25% of BF to around 10% of body fat. I realized that I need to gain more muscle now but I still would like to follow keto diet and intermittent fasting because I like the way I feel. Do you think that following the same diet and training I can gain some lean mass just by increasing calories. I eat 2250 cal a day at this time and slowly increasing by 100 to 150 a week.

Curious to know what your opinion is in terms of which is the best source of energy for your body when it comes to performance between food (preworkout carbs) and body fat. Before starting Intermittent fasting I noticed that as soon as my weight dropped my strength fell straight away. Ever since IF my weight has been steadily decreasing for the last month but I've notice that my strength continues to rise (without any changes in workout programme or macros, just a change in meal timing). Thanks in advance

I'm just starting to research IF so thank you for this video, very informative. One question: you mention Yohimbe works only when fasted. Should you be taking it at a specific time? For example, at the beginning of fasting 16 hours, in the middle of that 16 hours, or at the end when you break the fast? Or does it not really matter specifically?

Hey Mike, What is your take on IF mixed with carb cycling or carb backloading? Basically I work out mostly in the AM around 10 for max 1,5 hours and as we know cortisol is low around 5PM so my first meal is around 1 and it is low carb. Also I like your take on the Leucine, how would you go with leucine pre and glutamine as post workout to keep fasted state?

Ive already lost 5 kg but i feel thats just water weight. Should I keep at it ? Is it a good strategy ? Will this work ?

Hey Mike, I've been training fasted for a couple months now and I love it but lately I've read some stuff online that indicates that a lot of your typical pre-workout supplements can actually spike your insulin levels. I currently take Pre-JYM by Jim Stoppani, it's one of the best pre-workouts I've ever used but I'm worried that it may be giving me an insulin spike without me even knowing. I'd appreciate your insight on this. Thanks.
