The idea behind this tip is that you use your Google webmaster tools data to understand long tail keywords that have decent amount of search volume, but your ranking relatively low for and creating content around that particular keyword.

In my case i used influencer marketing to achieve this. I grew my website's presence which in turn translated into traffic with the use of phlanx (influencer marketing platform), how it works is really straightforward -> influencers (popular people) technically "promote" or "advertise" content/businesses/products/services of other people. I find this tool for digital marketing to be really helpful especially for startups

I make my living developing web sites. When I get a break, I check out how my friends are doing and sometimes share my travel moments with my friends. It's just the way of socializing with people. When I share a link on Facebook, my friends know I find it interesting. When I update my status, it's just my thoughts (or something I copied from Will Farrell's twitter page). We hardly do any business on Facebook. With TSU, everything you do, you do it for money. Everyone becomes a sales associate and it's not going to be a friendly place anymore.

Thank you, that was an excellent video! Just finished making my website and trying to decide whether it's worth doing this stuff myself or getting one of those companies that call you up and tell you in an accent that they can stick you on the first page of google. It seems like all the tools are available. And with such videos as these it makes it appear simpler and less daunting. :-)

+Rich Kisida While you could do that sort of backlinking strategy, here I just wanted to cover how to find actionable data. but yes, if you understand what pillars are, rolling all of these keyword-centric pieces into separate pillars would do wonders.

Is cannibalism a problem to be concerned with having 2 pages ranking as such?

+Dean Cannibalism is a much bigger problem in general, those who have the issue should see a psychiatrist. lol To answer your question, well, I'm not sure what you're asking. If two pages are ranked for the same keyword, that means you have two spots on the SERP and it's actually a great thing.
