In this video I give a full fair review on the use of Green gobbler Main Line opener. This video will give you a better perspective on how to use this product and how well it does or does not work. I highly recommend you watching this video in full before making your purchase on a product to use. It's an industrial strength product that is safe for all pipes and septic systems. With no toxic fumes and is completely odorless. I also waive myself from being responsible for any injuries damage and or negative outcome. Use this video only as a guide.

Thank You for posting your review on Green Gobbler Main Line Opener 🙂It worked just as you said for me as well 🙂I had a 'plumber' come out to snake out my drain, and was quoted an outrageous price ($700 +) 🤬I sent him packing even though I had to pay for a service call for just an estimate, without him doing anything 🤬 I went out and bought 2 gallons for $20 each, poured them down the drain overnight, and washed it out the next morning with Hot Water... It worked GREAT for me on a combined kitchen and bathroom sink and tub sharing the same 2 inch drain pipe before entering the main stack. I hope anyone will consider giving it a try before being gouged by a 'plumber' in an emergency situation!! For $40, its certainly worth a try before paying $100's of $$$$$ Thank You again ... 🙂

Had a really bad drain in toilet. Used this and let it sit for about 36 hours, poured hot (not boiling) water, then plunged. Worked! Drains running smoothly ever since. It needs time to dissolve whatever is clogging the drain. Don’t rush, it’s not instantaneous.

I pushed down a glob of calcified hair in my shower drain thinking it would just make its way to the main line....WRONG. 2 days later, every plumbing fixture in the house was gurgling. It was blocked before the outside cleanout like yours was. The other cleanout was in the basement. I have a big house and all the 4" lines were full of water. I decided to drill a hole in the cleanout cover and let it slowly drain. I filled a 32 gallon trash can 4 times before the line was clear. Snaked it and snaked it, no luck, it was jammed up solid. I finally just put the cleanout cap on and dumped in some draino gel and waited several hours. Most of the clog was clear but when I ran the snake through the line again, out came the clump of calcified hair. Haven't had a problem for years until today. Time to get out the draino again.

HI Rounded Rob. I tried the Green Gobbler in powder form because we had a giant hairball from my daughter's hair completely clogging the bathtub drain. There was no movement of water at all. We tried the green gobbler and let it sit for 7 hours, then poured boiling water down the drain. It still didn't move at all. We did the same as you and put a plunger to it shortly after we poured down the boiling water and within seconds it moved the blockage and drained the tub. I honestly think to product does help to soften the blockage and the hot water in combination with the plunger are the final steps needed to move the clog. Thanks so much for your video, it really helped us work through the issue and we really appreciate your help!

I remember when I saw this video in early 2022 and appreciate it! I had tried green gobbler for the sink and it worked great for a clog, but when the toilet clogged, the main line was so clogged (old cast iron) that the plumbers took a team with 4 of their vans, a camera, an auger, and a water jet system around 4 hours to clear it. Now I have a clogged washer drain line. It flows slow, but overflows during the drain cycle if it isn't stopped. I just poured 1.5 gallons of the industrial gel down the line and about 0.5 gal in the toilet next to the washer. I tried snaking the line, but there is a 90 degree elbow that two different snakes (manual 3/8th and one that attaches to the drill that is 1/4) and neither way got me to get past that elbow. I was looking for the main line opener, but the only thing my local store had was the Industrial Strength Gel. It was thicker than room temperature gravy!
@roundedrob1483
@roundedrob1483 Жыл бұрын
So, how's it going with the washer drain?
@Enlightenmentbringer
@Enlightenmentbringer Жыл бұрын
@@roundedrob1483 It worked out well. There was an initial overflow on the first drain cycle (I was watching it of course to pause it)... and after that, it's been flowing smoothly. I plan on pouring .25gal in each drain and another 1.5 gal into the washer drain line... and then doing maintenance pours every few months. I finally got the snake down too and found nothing remaining. I also flushed the vent with water and some debris flowed (we were watching the sewer cleanout) from that... So the hair/dog hair/lint probably just clogged where the PVC terminated into the old cast iron and Green Gobbler did the trick again. It won't always help, but people also need to give it copious amounts of time to work. The Industrial Strength is supposed to work faster than the standard Green Gobbler though.

My septic tank is working just fine (house built in 1922) just by flushing a Green Gobbler packet every month and a packet of Green-Pig every 2-3 months. For me, its worth spending a few bucks to avoid having problems and the expense of digging a new drain-field. May not be related, but the enzymes do the work of preventing buildup of slime and other solids in any wastewater system.

Late comment. LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Discovered it 2 years ago. My local plumber and seems to be the only plumber of 40 of them ( I know, I called them all) wanted $192 a pop for this clearing out. In frustration, went to my local Home Depot. For around $18 I did the same job as the plumber. My problem is I have weird shaped pipes. Can't fix the pipes, but the toilet main line runs great. There's another product that maintains the line. Both are great. Some plug ups needs extra clearing.

I’ve used this same stuff myself. I can say I had the same problem only bigger and smellier. Had poop coming out of our tub when we flushed our toilet. Poured this down the toilet and tub and a few hours later. Like magic! Our problem was taken care of. Tried drano and every KZfaq idea and nothing worked. This stuff did. I’ve also tried another green gobbler product. The one for unclogging sinks. But that was crap. Let it sit for 3 days and it didn’t work.

So after watching this video about a week ago I went to Home Depot and picked up two gallons. I used a gallon in in toilet, after 2 days it was still just as clogged. I used half a gallon in a toilet that I believe was the really clogged drain. 2 days later I still thought it was clogged. Fast forward to today… I went to home depot and rented the 75’ snake and took it home. I opened up the cap on the main drain clean out and noticed it was clear🧐. I decided to see how clogged it was. I was absolutely shocked that the main line was completely clear now and nothing was clogged anymore after do multiple test flushes while running all the faucets. Needless to say the product needs time to work. Don’t rush it. I am still in shock how good it worked

Hey Rob, really enjoyed the video. Our house was built in 76, we bought it a couple years ago and we get a back up every year or so in our mainline. A couple months we got it snaked a were told we had a 10 ft belly in our sewer line at like 30-40 ft out.
