I made a card with my 3D and my big shot plus and everyone was impressed with the Embossing not the embellishments or the stamped design. I didn’t realize how distinctive the 3D makes a card stand out! Having so much enjoyment with the 3D and my Big Shot Plus!

I enjoy watching you do your demonstration I have the Big Shot Plus I got it for Christmas an I’ve started to using it so I’ve been practicing with pieces of paper and I go back to your videos cause I just got a little sidetracked sometimes as to what Side I put the dye on the plates as I’m working so I go back to your videos every now and then to make sure that I’m doing it the right way

What were the feathers made of? I found that card enchanting. I love this video. You have a wonderful knack for designing and teaching. I went through my Sizzix products and found that I have a lot of your products. There must be something that reaches out from you to me. I plan to find all your videos so I can learn how to use what I have purchased properly. I am your biggest fan!

Like the products individually but my teeth hurt from this combo. Hope the colors mesh better in person. Sorry not a fan of pink & red & lavender together. Love the gold & white card. Thanks for the tip on dampening the paper first

I am hoping for them to come out with dies that cut thicker paper. The paper stock gets so flimsy when you cut them with a die.

Thank You! New to card making. I’m looking to purchase Sizzix Bigshot Foldaway. I have a question that has been plaguing me preventing the purchase. I am not sure which dies are compatible with this machine exactly. I have been shopping around for dies and found different brands that look good but don’t want to buy them to find they wont work with the machine. Any recommendations???? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks! Jackie

My new Sizzix Big Shot did not come with the platforms like you are using, it came with two separate platforms, a multi purpose and a thin adaptor, and I cannot put an embossing folder through with those. I have to use the multipurpose, the no cut, the embossing folder, and then a shim, it will not work with the cutting platform as described in the instructions. It makes it difficult to use when everybody else is using the three in one platform. Can you help.

I can't afford the machine. However I do have the Cuttlebug die cutter and embosser. I pray I can still do all these crafts using it. Anyone having trouble Using the Cuttlebug?

Pattyanne Deveau you should do just fine using the Cuddlebug, you may have to play around with your cutting plates/sandwich several times before you get the perfect impression or cut. I have the Cuddlebug and Big Shot Plus and have never had any issues using any Sizzix products on either machine (plus the packaging on the dies and folders say they’re compatible with leading industry machines, of which Cuddlebug is).

Margaret Parker I guess you missed the childhood, important life lesson, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Why not just be appreciative and grateful to Sizzix and Jen, for taking the time to make and share these videos, after all, how much are you paying monthly to support any/all of the videos you watch... nothing, go figure!

I've yet to see a video tutorial with Jen Long where the project looks appealing. That shaker card color combo, bleh! The last video I watched she didn't remove the excess embossing powder and the project was a hot mess. She is beautiful, but her crafting skills, well not so much.

Why did you feel a need to put Jen down? That says something about YOU. If you don't like her work then leave. But don't go insulting her while you are stupid enough to watch someone you don't like. There are a lot of us who love Jen and her work. I'd rather spend time with her than you.

molly Satinado wow, the rude/hurtful insults are appalling, the number of viewers leaving horrible comments on KZfaq videos by crafters is incredibly horrible and unnecessary, these people have feelings and are human, too! Several have actually STOPPED making videos completely because of people like you, Molly, this is wrong on so many levels, after all, how much are you paying to watch her or any other videos? You’re NOT, which is my point, you’re actually part of the problem versus part of the solution... and crafting is supposed to be fun/enjoyable, we should be supporting/building each other up instead of bringing each other down and ripping to shreds.

Carolyn Williams her speech is just fine, I’ve never heard of anyone else complaining about it and I certainly have no issues understanding her, so it has to be the device your watching/listening to videos on or it’s your hearing that’s the problem, so that’s on you.

I don't want to be mean because I'm not a mean person but having just watched 2 of this lady's videos the combinations she uses are terrible. Wonder if it is her choice or of they're given to her to use. I'm sure she's a wonderful creative director though.
