How do use IOD paint inlays with Chalk Paint or lacquer DIY furniture flip
In this tutorial you will see me explore how to use Iron Orchid Design’s Paint Inlays to create a distressed Italianate style sideboard.
What are paint inlay well it’s a pretty new product to the furniture painting market it’s not a transfer or decoupage it is actual paint printed on a carrying sheet which you will embeds seamlessly to your painted surface giving the whole illusion of a hand-painted piece. I truly think this is an amazing product which could be used in so many different ways check out the tutorial you have to see it to believe it.
Paint Inlays were extremely well with Chalk Paint but will also work with many other brands of mineral furniture style paint . So join me on my journey in this very long tutorial which I break down into different segments starting with the basics on how I’ve chosen to apply the inlays through to creating a distressed piece of furniture ready to receive the inlays I’m finally on finishing touches to displayed peace.
