How to use Needle Threaders

Instructions on how to use the Janome and Babylock needle threader accessories (originally the "Handy Needle Threader"). They come with various overlockers/sergers and can be used with sewing machines.

Thank you so much!! I couldn’t get mine to work until I watched your video. Found that my wiire was not straight. I unbent it and it works like a charm no.

You were lucky if you were able to unbend it. They are often unfixable!

@@Sally-ih6ls Interesting to know that Pfaff include them with their machines too. I was aware of Janome and Babylock including them.

@@SharynsSewingSchool with the sergers only that I know of…most of their machines have the threaders attached to machine

@@Sally-ih6ls it is quite complicated to put a built in threader on a serger or cover stitch machine because the needles are close together. These separate threaders do a good job as long as you don't bend the wire.

Thanks for the demonstration Sharyn. I have one of these but had no idea how to use it. A very useful gadget I met you recently in the Janome shop in Joondalup where you helped me buy my lovely new machine. Good luck with your channel. So nice to hear another Aussie voice on KZfaq. Maybe some advice on how to use the one step button hole foot next?

@@SharynsSewingSchool it was the demo 4300QDC and I am loving it. Have also recently got a janome air-threader so I am all kitted out now.
