If there is a word most learners struggle with is 'que'. And do you know why? 'Que' has at least eight different uses in Brazilian Portuguese. In today's lesson you are going to learn one of the most common uses that 'que' has, which is to be a relative pronoun.
You will learn how 'que' is used to connect clauses and some alternative pronouns to it.

Sometimes it sounds like you're saying que (Kay), and sometimes it sounds like you're saying que (Kee). Am I hearing that correctly, and how do we know when to use one versus the other?

Olá! Tudo bem? Good question! You are hearing correctly! When the letter E is at the end of a word and has no written marks on (when it is unstressed), it may be reduced, making it sound like *kee.* 😊 I talk more about that and some other vowel sounds in the following lesson. - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a8CCkpxyqdzToKM.html

what if I try to speak Portuguese, to Brazilians then they talk to me in Portuguese language, when I'm I asked I don't know what to answer what should I do?
