La théorie est belle, j’ai fait comme sur la video, les rivets se detachent en appliquant le Mr Color Thinner. Pourquoi ne pas faire comme HGW. Il y aurait moins de problèmes. En plus c’est long à faire disparaitre le film support..il doit y avoir d’autres moyens.

Yes, special printer Also there is another new growing company making different types "3d decals" They are making not only a riveted lines but circles and other shapes. Stand by for new videos!

I use Mr Surfacer 500 as putty for gap & joint lines. When QS rivets are applied on this Surface 500 treated surfaces, and if Mr Color Thinner is used to soak on this OS decal, will it dissolve Surface 500 and expose the treated gap? TIA.

Use just a tiny amount of the thinner and you should be good. And definitely not be exposed.

Would enamel thinner (orderless mineral spirits) work to get rid of the carrier film? That's what i use on eduards decals to help peel the film off.

it will not dissolve the film and it might react with the rivets itself.

Can the film be removed with ISP? Also, any success if rivets are applied on acrylic undercoat?

In no way! IPS will react with printed polymer and ruin it Haven't tried with acrylic yet

My question is, is it possible to polish with 3000 grit paper after priming? does the rivet stay on the surface or does it fall off?

It`s better to avoid sanding and polishing areas with rivets. They are not strong as molded plastic rivets and you will definitely remove paint or even sand them down

why on top? You should put rivets on plastic and cover it with BMF like it's regular riveted plastic surface.

@@DmitryGrigorev because I'm using bare metal foil to represent overlapping panels and then I'm going to put these rivet heads over the foil and then primer and paint the model the plane that I'm working on instead of having flush aluminum panels it has overlapping panels and the model kid is an old model kit and does not have that molded detail nor does it have pop rivet detail

After, because you are gonna use thinner to remove thin lacquer film first.
