I appreciated the detail you provided on how to properly distribute the weight when loading a tractor. I'm a newbie at tractoring and have never even transported my tractor yet. I can see now I have the weight too far toward the back of the 18' trailer. It is a tandem axle 7,000 lb structure, but some attachments are quite heavy so I may need to rethink which ones I really need before reloading the trailer. Thanks for your help. Also, I will be using four straps for the tractor and one strap for any attachments.

You are most welcome. The weight distribution is as important as strapping down the trailer. Make sure you watch multiple videos and consult your trailer instructions. Thank you for watching!

I like what you did with the excess strap length. Neat easy knot to keep your straps from blowing around and potentially getting rolled up on by your trailer tire. I'll be using that technique the next time I haul equipment. 👍

You really should use a seperate tie down on all 4 corners of the tractor plus a seperate tiedown for each lmplement front and back . amazon sells sleeves for straps so any place there is a sharp edge it will be reinforced I liked what you proposed for the wheels.

This is not a legal hook up!

What would be the legal hook up?

@@157mshaggy need four independent tie downs, and another holding implement on front, and another on any implement on back if mounted. The two strap method that was used in this vid would keep the load secure side to side if stuff got crazy while transporting
