Suprise! I'm going to try and bang out a couple of vids this week.
This one was a bit quicker to do as it's more explainy than usual. Let me know what you think about recon vehicles. Before this video I'd really never even thought of them. Why have they been ignored?

Today we killed a tiger with a greyhound lmao, after killing 3 more tigers, a pump and 2 supply trucks with a single 76 sherman, best game ive ever had xD

One of my proudest moments in the game is going up against a tiger as a greyhound and winning, ill always remember that as the moment i fell in love with the game.

Been doing this for ages... If you haven't already get two squad leaders to jump in with you and then you can effectively drop 12 team mates behind enemy lines creating a solid flank when the Squad Leaders build their outposts.

Your videos of Hell Let Loose are increadible, and deserve way more views! This is my wife and I's favorite game, she NEVER thought that she would enjoy a military shooter as much as this, that just goes to show how great a game they made and are still making. The recon vehicle is really underrated. Using it's maneuverability, you can take out enemy tigers all day long.

Was doing something like this with some friends a couple weeks ago. Blitzed the edge of the map to set up 6 nodes, then posted up a game-winning garrison to win a match in under 30 mins. It's a good bit of fun imo

That's cute the way at the end the commander defended you :) That's such a perfect example of how demonstrating to someone first hand how something is effective can earn you pardon for "breaking the rules" to most people - good stuff man, excellent meta find! Best part is even when they add willy jeeps & trucks this will still be a good strategy as it's resistant to small arms and has a 37mm cannon for offensive purposes. I'd say this for something to try, Recon vech's for commander, Trucks for Squads and willy jeeps for recon units

I can already tell this is the best Hell Let Loose video person. This is an excellent video on an actually underrepresented piece of the game. I'm still new to this, so I watch a few too many videos trying to get better. You absolutely demolished people in that vehicle and changed my mind on its use completely. Thank you Wild Bill

Very good video Wild Bill. I agree, HLL has given us a lot of good tools, but very few use them. Recon team/vehicle in the rear area of an enemy can reek havoc for them. I like the strategy. Thanks for sharing

Nice vid, I don't play the game but you made me want to join. I've always had fun playing light tanks/recons in other games like Arma. "If you want something done do it yourself" Lesson learned in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory years ago

i did this last night with another friend who was my gunner. reminds me of the PUBG days when we would get teamed up with a random player. we would just drive around the map placing nodes/garrys/outposts while singing shit songs, love it and love your vids bill.

To name a few that im currently studying ...2nd,3rd,4th,6th,14th,15th,17th,102nd,106th,113th MCG mech cav grp. Armored Cav Recon ACR was used in Battle of the bulge attached to tank units, Tank Destroyers, armored infantry etc in great effect. I love cav recon. And they also fought dismounted like infantry. They move fast to get in test enemy fire strength & report back to H.Q. also protected flanks too. M8 Scott HMC howitzer motor carriage, a stuart w 75mm assault gun. M5 stuart, M24 chaffee, M8 greyhound, M3 white scout car, bantam jeeps w MGs & Mortars & half tracks. I fight cavalry style in HLL lol.

I do not like it in basements. Not enough light. I like to game in natural light, with sun glare all over the place so I can easily see where I left the mountain dew and Doritos for an easy grab. I also got used to seeing my keyboard from back in the yore days when keyboards did not come with eye melting leds. It is for immersion, you see. Also, in the 20 some games I played so far, I have never seen more then a few garrisons. It is usually just one in the capture point. No wonder, we were losing so hard, most of the time.

Recon vehicles are THE BEST for killing heavy tanks. Closer the better. It's super easy, unless there are bazooka men nearby (note: around tanks there are 0 bazookamen)

this game is a oneman show. you gotta do all yourself to win the game. all the others are just cannon fodder and zerg players

Problem is, all the stuff you need to do to win is boring as fuck. Nobody is playing this game because they like logistics. So no matter how much we try to get garrisons players will just do what they want. As much as we slate the players it's the games fault. It needs to understand what it wants to be, a WW2 FPS or a logistics simulator. I mean honestly, who gets any enjoyment out of the nodes stuff, who benefits from them? Yes, logistics are a big part of warfare but nodes aren't even slightly representative of reality so why include them if they aren't adding any realism or fun... they're just another boring chore IMO.
