When doing monograms do u put the persons first initial middle then last name in the monogram eg Sandra Valerie Carpenter SVC? I have seen in a video they said SCV do the middle initial last. Is this true. Can you advise me please.

having trouble changing the color of the middle letter. its the one that is connected to the frame. it just won't change. i have watched the video over and over and cannot figure out how to make it work. can you help me, please? Thanks!
