How to use Acrylic Plastic Putty by José Brito. It is a modelling paste which dries to a white, totally opaque, stone hard finish. It is used principally for rebuilding or restructuring models and miniatures, for textures and high reliefs.

For me, the best thing about your putty and wash is the lack of toxicity and indifference to health. I don't cough, my skin doesn't suffer, but I like acrylic products. More over, there is no problem with cleaning tools and the desk

Hello Kernell! It is recommended to apply the Plastic Putty after assembling all the parts and before priming. This approach offers a better option, as you won't have to paint the parts that you don't want, and the plastic putty will be concealed under the primer. Moreover, applying the primer provides additional protection 😊

Nestor Thomsen, Additionally, my experience is that this stuff never sets up hard and always remains a little rubbery, which makes sanding filled ejector pin holes, for example, rather dicey - the dried putty always wants to pull out of the hole. It can , i have used it for 1:16 weld seams. Just don't let it to dry completely before making weld pattern (i used toothpick).

Francisco, Estamos de acuerdo contigo. No te sabría decir cuando, pero la intención es poner los subtítulos en español y voz en inglés. Perdona las molestias.

I've tried this putty, after 3 days its still soft like rubber, not hard at all, and no way I could sand it. And I didnt thin it.

I let it dry for 30 minutes, but it's not really solid, rather like it's made out of gum, and when I sand it, it just sticks to the sanding paper, and comes off. Do I have to add water before it dries?
@vallejocolors
@vallejocolors 3 жыл бұрын
Hello! No, the texture should not be made out of gum. It should dry and let you sand without problem.

@@vallejocolors Maybe I should wait more. I actually watched this video after applying the putty, and I did not clean off the excess, just let it dry as it is and sand it later, so it was thicker and dried slower. Thank you for the answear.

@@elpatrico2562 try to put a thin layer (just to fill the gaps) and clean the excess. Then let it dry very well and try sanding again. If you need help let us know ;)
