We will spin and ply a lacewight yarn from BFl Fiber.
Color dying by Essential Fiber / colorway Egyptian Artifact.
4oz head on a pollywog shown. also available in an 8oz and 16oz for all Spinolution wheels. 16oz of a firefly requires a riser or a use of the echo head.

OMG the wobble that thing creates! How off balance does that make the wheel?

The other bar is weighted to counter balance. If it was off you would see a lot of shake on a pollywog

Does it work the same if your spinning bulky yarn

There may be too many hooks to get around for bulky. This is ment for those spinning long yardage that takes forever to fill a bobbin.

When plying my yarn it falls off the fulcrum pin.

Not "give" it too fast. Let the wheel take it from you

So do you have to increase the tension or just keep a hold on the yarn not allowing a draw-in?

@@maggiepatterson7949 always keep some tention on the yarn in your hand to keep it from flying off the pegs ornin this case the fulcrum

Does this work with the accelerator on?

Should work, but may be difficult to get the small accelerator drive band around the paulywinder

Hm. Abgesehen davon, dass das Ding mir Angst macht… Das Spinnrad eiert damit herum wie eine Waschmaschine beim schleudern.
