How to assemble your new Spinperfect Paulywinder by Spinolution, on a variety of Spinolution Wheels

This video will demonstrate the steps required to assemble and install a Spinperfect Paulywinder by Spinolution on a Spinolution Pollywog.
I also discuss what is required to install a Paulywinder onto other Spinolution wheels.

Thank you so much for this video. It made it so easy to assemble and I am so happy with the Paulywinder. I just wanted to share that the fulcrum screw (the silver part) needed to be loosened a bit before I could adjust it with the set screw. Also I discover the Paulywinder did not work well with the orfice bar with the pvc pipe that I had bought for the Pollywog because I spin very fine. I had to adjust the pins regularly to prevent it from only filling in one place. However, when I went back to orfice bar with the hook (the original on the Pollywog came with), it worked a treat and did a great job of winding on evenly without any adjusting. Just a bit of feedback to help anyone who might be experiencing the same issue I had.

Wenn ich das 3D gedruckte Teil auf mein 2000€ Spinnrad installieren würde, dann täte ich an meinen Verstand zweifeln. Einen WooLee Winder würde ich mir noch gefallen lassen. Ok, die Spinnräder von Pauly sind ohnehin billigst gemacht. Da passen sie dann sehr gut drauf. Damit eiern sie noch mehr.

I have a new Bull Frog. The screws sent with the Pauly winder seem too long, which doesn’t let the parts go in all the way. Is this right?

I have an older pollywog with a wood whorl. Any problems inserting the paulywinder?

I think any friends from you have a 3D Printer. This Part is very easy to print. But it is very ugly this winder. The WooLee Winder looks like very nice and works perfekt also by very thick yarn. The problem by the Paulywinder is the imbalance on your wheel. Okay. The spinning wheels are also the cheapest scrap metal. That's where the ugly thing fits very well.

You don't mention the Hopper. Will it work with the Hopper? I've already checked and it looks like it is going to be a bear to get those strange square screws out.

It should work with the hopper What generation is it?

@@SpryWhimsy I should have asked whether it worked with the Hopper before ordering. ;-) I ordered the Hopper new, guessing about 5 years ago. It was right before or after prices went up. I had to wait 6-8 weeks for it. I got the screws out but have been unable to get the arms off. They are stuck well and good. Any chance they could be glued? How do I tell generation so I can put it in my notes?

Remove the outer ring with the arms

@@SpryWhimsy I have a golden whorl. I finally got the bars off but not without a lot of work.
