Finally someone who knows how to train the apprentice rather than using them as cheap labour
@dylanmorgan27522 ай бұрын
True so many big companies will use young people as slave labour then your middle aged blokes with gold dust contracts act like they’ve got attitude issues. Mate of mine secured what he thought was a promising job for life at Network rail, worked his arse off on peanuts for a few years only to get thrown away with the others a few weeks before graduating. You’d be surprised how much a young enthusiastic person will work for you if they can trust you.

I used to be a Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic. Ended up having to work at a metal fabrication shop when I could find no other work. I was amazed by my lack of skills and knowledge when I found out how little pay I was being offered. Sure was good at pulling welding cables on job sites.

Nice work, ethics, don't abuse your apprentices or there won't be any apprentices. Hard enough to get good help ,hire apprentices, raise your own good help.
@dylanmorgan27522 ай бұрын
Exactly. These people wonder why there aren’t enough young people learning trades and put it all down to youngsters having no graft when they won’t lift a finger to teach them. A good apprentice will work hard for you so long as they can trust you with their future.
