Nice work man, I'm splitting hairs here but my personal preference with inlays is to plan for the overlap to be laying down towards the ground. In the event there is any dirt collecting on the seem where there could be adhesive, it will be less likely to show because it is facing down away from you. This also, in my opinion, hides the seems better. (for anyone wondering)This requires applying the knifeless tape first to cut the large piece (the last piece CK applied to the bumper) and then later another line of knifeless tape to cut the inlay. Just depends on where the seam is. Also when wiping the car down you are less likely to catch the seam with a micro fiber cloth.

why did you do inlays here but not on the amg gt that had similar bumper inlays?

Is there a video on how you did the inlays? I don’t see that you used knifeless tape on the bottom inlays after laying over the big piece?

Great videos and learning a lot! Im wanting to wrap a road race car with solid color 2080 3M. Front bumper is rock chipped badly. Planning to sand those out prior to covering. Will the film give me any meaningful protection from rock chips or should I expect it to get damaged over time as well? Thanks!

I would think where the knifeless tape was used at 17:19 that the edge would eventually come loose there from dirt getting under that edge and or washing the car. Just seems like there has to be another way

Great job man, love your work. I got a question, by pulling the decal so tight, isn't that make it last less ?. Also do you have any videos showing how to do edges or how to work with the knife less tape to wrap really hard spots. You know like the deep in parts. Thanks again for all the lessons man, in trying to wrap my Nissan 350z nismo. That's going be a challenge, but with your videos I think I can probably do it.
